As a tourist in New York City, it's hard to resist the snapshots of iconic landmarks or try one's hand at street photography, even if both are firmly in the territory of cliché. But I wanted to do something a little bit different. I tried to capture images by serendipity as I walked around, without the need to stop and point my camera at the obvious sights of interest. The blurred exposures seem like a fitting expression of the city's dynamism.
